Senior Economist and Wealth Manager


Roger Klein is a Senior Economist and Wealth Manager who serves as an advisor and portfolio manager for individuals, institutions, and corporations. He uses active asset allocation to seek stock market returns with less risk for his clients.

Roger joins the Ventura Wealth Management team after being President of Interest Rate Futures Research and Timing Strategies Corporations for over 40 years. Prior to establishing his own companies, Roger was the Executive Director of the Public Securities Association, a national trade association representing municipal and government securities dealers, brokers, and dealer banks. He has also worked for the Securities Industry Association.  Additionally, Roger has been a Professor of Economics at the University of Detroit and an Adjunct Professor at several colleges including Baruch College, Pace University, and The College of New Jersey.

He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Michigan State University with a major in finance.  Roger co-authored The Beat Inflation Strategy, published by Simon and Shuster in 1975. He was the editor of The Klein-Wolman Investment Letter, a monthly investment newsletter published continuously from 1976 to 2021. In addition, he has written articles in the areas of public finance and the financial markets for The New York Times, Money Magazine, Nation’s Business, The Money Manager, The Bond Buyer, Boardroom Reports, and Bottom Line Personal.
