Providing clients with high-quality, objective advice is Dan’s primary mission. Dan oversees client portfolios tailored to specific, client-defined goals. Business owners, executives with concentrated stock holdings, individuals with defined income needs, or families with multigenerational investment strategies often fall under Dan’s oversight. In addition to advising individuals and families, he oversees many of VWM’s relationships with business and institutional clients including corporate retirement plans - 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit, reserve accounts, and endowments.
Dan is a graduate of The College of New Jersey and has an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. At UNC, he completed concentrations in global marketing, corporate finance, and investment management. Dan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. He holds the Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as Life, Health, and Long Term Care insurance licenses in multiple states. He is also a graduate of New York University’s Financial Planning Certificate Program
Dan actively reviews, manages, and advises the firm’s clients on a wide range of financial topics. He has given numerous seminars on topics including retirement income strategies, financial fitness for business owners, alternative investments, and analysis of current economic trends. Dan has authored articles on financial planning and has been quoted in numerous publications including The New York Times, USA Today, FoxBusiness.com, Yahoo! Finance, The Street, Mainstreet.com, Financial Advisor, WealthManagement.com, 401(k) Wire, FiduciaryNews.com, and Medill Reports. He was featured as a young, local business leader to watch in MidJersey Business Magazine and NJ Biz.
Dan is an active member of the community. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Mercer County Estate Planning Council. Dan is past co-chair of the MidJersey Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professional Connective, current President of the Point Pleasant Beach Education Foundation, Treasurer of MorDance, and is involved in various professional organizations. Dan has had two books published and is an avid tennis player, golfer, and amateur photographer.
